Mileage Calculator is an Android application that records daily vehicle odometer readings and automatically calculates business and personal mileage across the year. It is developed by Steven Kinloch and distributed on the Google Play Store.
Users enter a start and end odometer reading for each day. The app calculates business mileage (end minus start) and personal mileage (the gap between the previous day's end and the current day's start), producing monthly and yearly totals. Data is stored locally on the user's device at all times.
Mileage Calculator can optionally back up a user's mileage data to their own Google Drive account as a CSV file. The app requests the drive.file scope only, which limits its access to files the app itself creates.
It cannot read, modify, or delete any other files in the user's Google Drive. No mileage data is sent to the developer or any third-party server — the backup goes directly to the user's own Google Drive account.
